Aiko and Jesse’s victorian wedding. Austin, Texas Mayfield Park
Posted on March 8, 2010
It’s no secret that I love weddings but I LOVE weddings that are a little offbeat! Aiko and Jesse painstakingly research everything Victorian related and added their created flair and the end result was just beautiful!! I was so surprised by how much they knew about the Victorian period; from the lock of hair given to her suitor to the meaning of a woman tapping her fan to her cheek. Jesse’s coat is a replica featured in the film, ‘The Patriot’. Aiko’s gown was custom made by a talented tailor made in Pennsylvania. They just blew me away! Aiko and Jesse found many of their details courtesy of etsy.
We were very lucky and dodge the predicted rain showers. It was a beautiful day and everything seemed to just fall into place. Here are some pictures from the wedding. More on the way. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!!
Flowers from Callas Flowers. They were gorgeous and so fragrant.
Jesse’s watch is a vintage victorian watch that was restored for him.

Jesse is also a very talented artist and created the artwork for their wedding program.
